How it works

Simple by design.
Profound in practice.

Lisova is set up by the family member — in about 10 minutes. Your loved one never needs to learn an app, navigate a menu, or press a button. They just talk.

The process

Four steps to a daily companion

Setup takes one morning. The relationship lasts for years.

1

You set up the companion in 10 minutes

You — the family member — complete a guided onboarding. You tell Lisova everything about your loved one: their name, their personality, the stories they love to tell, the topics that bring them joy, the ones to gently avoid.

You choose your companion's name and voice. You enter caregiver notes — anything the companion should know to show up in the right way for your loved one's specific needs.

Your loved one does nothing during setup. They never see a form, never make a choice. Their companion arrives already knowing them — their name, their past, the people they love.

2

You introduce the companion — or leave the device

When setup is complete, Lisova gives you two options: introduce the companion while you're present with your loved one, or leave the device with a gentle screen that invites them to tap and start talking when they're ready.

The companion's opening conversation is warm, personal, and grounded in what you shared — not generic. Their first words feel like they already know each other a little.

3

The companion shows up every day

Each day, the companion begins a warm, unhurried conversation. They ask about memories, tell a gentle story, check in on how your loved one is feeling. They remember what was shared yesterday, last week, last month.

There's no script, no repetition, no awkward silences. The companion listens as much as it speaks. If your loved one wants to talk for five minutes or two hours, it's there either way.

Safety, always in the background. The companion monitors for confusion, distress, or signs of a possible scam — and notifies you immediately if anything rises to the level of concern. You'll never be left wondering.

4

You stay close, even from far away

Each morning, you receive a digest in your inbox: what your loved one talked about, how they seemed, anything worth knowing, and any new memories or stories captured. You can read it over your morning coffee.

In your family dashboard, you can read full conversation transcripts, review saved memories and stories, invite other family members, and share photos or messages that get woven into upcoming conversations.

Stories captured forever. Every memory your loved one shares — their first job, their wedding day, the people who shaped them — is gently saved to their personal story archive. A living record, built conversation by conversation, for your whole family.

Who Lisova is for

Three different people. One shared need.

👨‍👩‍👧
The family member

You love them. You can't always be there.

You're the one who set up the account, who reads the digest over coffee, who breathes a little easier knowing someone is with them today.

  • Daily digest emails, every morning
  • Real-time alerts when something's wrong
  • Full conversation transcripts in your dashboard
  • Stories and memories, saved and organized
👵
Your loved one

They just want someone to talk to.

  • Voice-only — nothing to type or tap
  • Personalized from the very first conversation
  • Patient, unhurried, always available
  • Never argumentative, always kind
👪
The extended family

The whole family can stay connected.

  • Invited family members get digest access
  • Share photos that appear in conversations
  • Read memories and stories together
  • Closer, even across distance
Is Lisova right for us?

Lisova works best for seniors who are still conversational — people who enjoy talking, reminiscing, and being heard. It's designed for mild to moderate cognitive changes, early Alzheimer's, and seniors living alone who simply need more connection than daily life provides.

It may not be the right fit for seniors with advanced dementia or those who become easily distressed by unfamiliar voices. If you're unsure, our 14-day free trial lets you see how your loved one responds before committing.

Lisova is a companion — not a replacement for human connection or professional care.
